Come and experience:
Freedom…… of movement…… of the spine! And much more………

GYROTONIC® methodology is a full body experience that works
in a circular and fluid modality. It strengthens muscles, increases
flexibility and coordination, and enhances overall mind-body awareness.
It is a technique that focuses on the mobilization of the spine and joints
to ease pain and eliminate restrictions in the body. Gyrotonic exercises
offer complete freedom of movement. Exercises are performed on the Professional
Pulley Tower. This system is fully adjustable and can meet the needs of many
people with varying body types and levels of strength.
How does it differ from other types of exercise?
Gyrotonic and GYROKINESIS® are different from other techniques
for a variety of reasons.
One, they create
three-dimensional, fluid motions, as opposed to static,
linear movement.
Two, they are ever changing
and evolving techniques, so that the client never gets into a
boring routine.
Three, they address the
entire body, while many other exercise systems isolate
body parts. Gyrotonic exercises are able to work the entire
body at all times.

Juliu Horvath, Inventor
Gyrotonic methodology is the invention of Juliu Horvath,
a Hungarian raised in Romania, whose professional career in
movement spanned years as a ballet dancer as well as a competitive
gymnasts and swimmer. Juliu defected to the United States in the
late 1960s, where he found success with ballet companies nationwide
before his career was abruptly ended by an injury. As part of his
recovery, Juliu discovered a unique combination of key movement
principles that Juliu called Gyrotonic and Gyrokinesis exercises. A truly
innovative movement technique, Gyrotonic and Gyrokinesis exercises were also
designed to develop the inner strength necessary to support muscular
and skeletal strength.
