Taylor Brown is a Fully Certified STOTT PILATES® Instructor and a Level 1 GYROTONIC® Instructor. She is currently studying to become a Balanced Body Certified instructor. In 1999, Taylor began taking Pilates as cross training for ballet. She earned her BFA in Dance Performance from Southern Methodist University. Her training began in Dallas, TX, and she completed her Pilates certification process in Charlotte, NC at Absolute Pilates in 2006. She formally earned her GYROTONIC® Level 1 Certificate in 2014. She is also trained in AIS (Active Isolated Stretching) taught by Aaron L. Mattes. The Mattes Method of muscle and fascial release provides effective and dynamic facilitated stretch of major muscle groups and is a perfect complement to Pilates and GYROTONIC®.
Taylor believes that movement is empowering for both the body and the mind. She feels the studio is a place to connect with your physical and heart center, gain strength and confidence, regain appreciation for your body and fine-tune athletic endeavors. She enjoys working with clients to incorporate Pilates and GYROTONIC® into their daily endeavors and their paradigm.
