Diane Powers was born in Chicago and had started her family there when various circumstances took her small family to Canada. She became the Canadian National Sales Manager for Eden Organic Foods, which brought her to Ponte Vedra Beach 13 years ago.
Loving and living the “alternative” lifestyle and fitness weight training, Diane was devastated to find herself having 3 surgeries back to back, which resulted in her bound to the couch. Through these events, she was then led into Pilates. Pilates had been in the recesses of her mind and to her surprise, she knew she had found a long lost passion her very first time on a reformer. Diane became certified on the Mat and Reformer through The APilates Method and began apprentice teaching in April 2013.
Diane has continued to follow her passion with Body Balance Institute. She is continuing her education through Balanced Body training for the Chair, Cadillac and
additional Reformer training. Diane has also enjoyed teaching for Vicki at the PGA tour offices since February 2015.
